Tomorrow I leave for North East Ohio and on Monday on to Columbus. I will probably pass right thru your stomping ground.
Guess thereās no use trying to find deals at your HDās, right
I will be picking up 3 more of those tool chests along the way though, found online and already paid for.
Errr, you ARE going to use yours for storing flashlights, right?
I was in Providence, RI today and saw this rolling work top cabinet on sale for $209.00. It is the same one that has been on sale for $298 since before Black Friday. So far this is the only store that I have seen them at this price. Other stores could follow. At 52 inches long, it is perfect for 2 of these 26 inch upper tool chests side by side.
At one time it was $329.00
I plan on putting 2 of those 9 drawer, 26 inch cabinets on the one I have. Here is mine with 2 - 26 inch 4 drawer toolchests that I got on BF. Those 2 tool chests are not as high, doesnāt have as many drawers nor are as deep as the $49.00 one. They are already full, the reason I need the bigger ones.
The Providence store had the 26 inch tool chest and itās matching bottom on display. The top is $49 and the 7 drawer bottom is $149.00
The combination is in the foreground of this picture and stands about 5 feet tall.
Iāve given this some thought, my phone is 2100mAh (2000 used for calculation) @ 3.7V is 7.4Wh, @ 70% would give about 10.5Wh, so two full charges would eat 21Wh or about half the 43Wh of the booster. This is not exact, there would be some inefficiencies and i would charge the phone before its completely dead but i will from now on do two charges from the power pack instead of 1/2 that i was doing.
This should create a storage voltage of about 40-50%
Itās been slow around here, I went this am and didnāt find much worth reporting. Scanned a few BF items and they havenāt dropped (that dremel set 162 pc, is still 10$ and the diablo dozer hole saw set is still $30) I already bought 2 of the dremel sets for 10$ so Iāll wait for a while. The husky 1500,2000,3000 lumen led work lights will be at the 3 price soon, theyāre the ones with the tripods.
No pics of anything sorry. I saw one of the milwaukee tool chests (top only) it will ring up 75$ but I have no need for it so I passed. DCH not sure if that top would fit on your bench but its worth a look.
I am on the road and canāt post pictures easily.
From traveling I can see that the 52ā Husky Work center cart IS $209.00
But they are hard to find.
If anybody had noticed the speaker mounts at the ā3ā price of $3.83, they are now a penny
Also a friend from Missouri called me from his Home Depot store to tell that the CAT stuff there was at the ā3ā price. He scored 2 of the big CAT battery chargers at $38.03 and 1 of the 1000A car boosters for $38.03
He took it apart and found that it contains a 21Ah lead acid battery. Not LiāIon
To anyone considering purchasing a Husky tool chest, seriously consider going down to your local Harbor Freight and look at their US General 44ā chest.
I labored over finding the best tool chest that would last me long enough to give to my children and this one fit the bill. Itās seriously heavy duty - weighs over 200lbs empty and has over a 2,000lb capacity.
Itās currently $349, so in a different price point, but if you go check it out, I think youāll see what I meanā¦.itās in a different class compared to that Husky chest.
Unfortunately - they 20% off coupons typically say they canāt be used on the chests.
I bought mine 3 years ago and I couldnāt use it thenā¦.I think they started cracking down about 5 yrs ago.
Honestly, Iād buy it if it was a $500 chest. I sound like some weird Harbor Freight fanboy, but this box is the bees knees and IMO, competes with boxes 3-4-5x itās price.
I have been following those same 4 items, none yet.
I am still in Ohio, and am finding other penny deals.
Also some things I know are a penny by now back home are still at the 6 or 3 price here
Yesterday I found a store that had the B&D power boosters we just talked about at $17.43. A friend that was with me bought 4.
I know where one of the BD bolsters is at, itās in an obscure place. Iām going to wait for it to hit a penny. What was the date on his that he bought.
