It’s always worked for me… I have no idea on why it wouldn’t work and V-Spec’s would, they use the same method the only difference is one uses the open in new tab button and the other uses the back button.

Thats what I thought. Surely the programmes shouldn’t make a difference?

I would say they would, internet explorer isn’t exactly known to be the best browser. (It sucks)

Have you found out why your pictures randomly are inverted(left is right and up is down)? I only have trouble reading when I flip the image and have to read the text upside down. The image quality is very good.
