The cells in the packs are rated for 20A continuous, and the entire 300V pack has a 100A slow blow fuse so it should be able to handle short bursts of 270A.
We’re going to scale down the power to 20kW though, so we’ll parallel around 3 water heating elements.
Yes, that’s quite true. I’m not even sure if you are serious. That’s nothing new, and several types have been capable of that, for years. Samsung 25R is rated for that, and it’s not the hottest variety.
Yes and yes. Momentary would be for 5 seconds or 30 seconds or whatever. “Till the battery is flat” as a battery mode of operation is very much continuous. It doesn’t get any more continuous as that.
