Buy this light only if you’re willing to spend more money on high discharge protected batteries, for the price?..
my DT70 are better value, as it is brighter than my Olight X7 or Haikelite MT03 and came with batteries too

But if I have to choose? My Nitecore TM16 GT with XP-L HI are better, it’s not pocketable as DT35 but at least it’s not so picky with the batteries… and oh yeah cheaper too, just ask around for the code

Edit: TM16 price is higher now, and imallent price is lower too :person_facepalming: :confounded:

How do you like the dt70? Any rough lumens estimate?

If I have to guess… probably 11,000 or 12,000 lumens, it is brighter than olight X7 or MT03 ceiling bounce or wall shot.
But just as in the past, Imalent lights tend exaggrated their lumens claim. but for the new price they have? it’s not a bad light, just don’t expect to be able to hold it in your hand longer than 3 mins

The multiple overlapping reflectors: This reflector sports large reflectors, with lots of overlap.

The TM28 is the direct opposite. Four much smaller reflectors, but with no overlap, yield a notably different beam pattern. It would be interesting to compare/contrast beam performance DT35 versus TM28.
