Thank you kindly for your excellent advice. I wanted to get some advice regarding an infra red matter and am opening a new question about this. I hope I can get your expert opinion there please, and that of Hank and others.

I own a streamlight sidewinder. It had ir light on it. It has a white, red, blue,and ir you switch with a dial. The belt clip also has a portion to put it on a helmet. Hope this helps. You cannot see the ir light at all without night vision goggles. Nvg ruins your depth perception.
