This is why I have no significant brand loyalties- anybody can make a turd and all that takes is not paying enough attention at the correct moment. If they’re so messed up as to design a lockout this badly when others do well, then they don’t deserve anyone’s respect or money. TBH every side-switch light I’ve pocket carried has self-activated, so without a low-drain lockout it’s nothing I could be convinced to use even if they gave it to me free.
If you admit an error and try to learn from it, people can be amazingly forgiving but if you try to CYA with excuses, people will remember that most strongly the next time you’re mentioned.
