Thank you so much!
If you ever plan to sell this driver with 16-17mm diameter, I would be glad to hear about it. It would be perfect for a Convoy S2+ triple flashlight.
Hey Ban.
Some time ago I bought a lot of empty p60 pills. I noticed that the surface on which the mcpcb is sitting isn’t flat.
I admit that I feel a bit cheated, because something that should provide better heat dissipation from the diode in reality is not much better than the classic p60 modules.
I need a lot p60 to finish all my flashlights and I paid a lot.
I want to say thanks. The new dust cap looks nice and fits perfect!
Will you get them also in bigger sizes? I would love to get one for my UF 1504 (70,5mm) to protect the aspheric lens.
Ban should stock some copper P60 pill. It will be more expensive but people will still buy it for the much better heat dissipation especially considering the powerful multi emitters.
That’s a weird issue the tooling in the CNC must of been warn out and uneven. Pretty poor job from the manufacturer to not notice i wonder what else went out with faults. In fairness i highly doubt ban looks over all the stock and checks if its even.
This shouldn’t even be an issue you need to check.
While I’m here any chance you will stock any Osram LEDs?
If you want to solve this problem in stead of returning them, i have some suggestions.
It depends on how thick the shelf is, but it could be enough to tighten the reflector and the pill so that the shelf bend flat,
or you could give the shelf a tap with a rod in the middle, using a hammer.
Or you could use a vise to bend down the shelf, clamping on a bush or something placed in the middle of the shelf.
I did not notice . But now that you mentioning it. It indeet covers the ugly 2016 logo completely. And the beam is not affected at all!
A cheap and good looking option that also protects the coating on the lens. The 53mm version is a good tight fit. You do not need to force it on the light and it will not come off unintentionally!
I hope that i can get one for my UF 1504. I still try to get a new lens (K9 quality with AR coating) for the light. But the lens will not be a real cheap purchase.
So it would be nice to have something that helps to prevent scratching the lens when transporting the light.
