Let us make joint efforts to make some good chargers.

And all the technical stuff, the stuff that makes them a ‘very good charger’…

I highly recommend reading a HKJ review, and see what he tests for, and make sure he will like your chargers specs and characteristics. Then when someone says can you recommend me a good charger, yours will be on everyones lips. If price is also low, then you would have a winner I would think.

Thanks HKJ.
I meaning is that if some people forget to select the correct battery type, the battey will be damaged, and any other unsafe situation.
So I want to design protection switch for each bay. If the user touch the switch and choose the right types of battery, the charger will go to work, otherwise it will refused to work .

BLF members, Do you think the protection switch is necessary, or not, or have any other better ideas?

Maybe sensing the temperature is the easiest way to tell if the user has made a mistake. To satisfy us, any safety limiting mechanism has to have an override, like military equipment.
I suppose it should either not start without voltage and current settings, use the previous settings or default to the lowest.

Hello folks,

Our new 8 slots charger is coming. PLS reading the HKJ's review. Thanks for his great work and kindly help.

WOW, that looks AMAZING

Great looking, yes. Not for my tastes, however.

The techy being inside of me couldn't care less about looks if the guts of the stuff can't deliver. For me, there's no good reason for not being able to precisely tune both current and termination voltage precisely. Sorry but, for the hefty amount of bucks that may cost I'd get some quality CC/CV modules, PSU, battery bays, voltmeters, current meters, etc. and custom build myself a proper charger. That's the way it is with me.

Cheers ^:)

Hi BLF members, Gyrfalcon All-44 is coming!

Ni-MH / Ni-Cd: AA, AAA, AAAA, C

I like the specs but is there still any way to add a 1.5A or 2A charge rate? Most high current cells can safely charge at 2A, and I already have too many 1A chargers.

Edit: I see that you’re already past development stage, so I guess no :frowning:

Yes, Gyrfalcon All-44 has released.
But we already have a plan to add 1.5A and 2A charging current in a follow-on new model.
Thanks for your kindly suggestion.

?

Sorry, it is a mistake, the right parameter is “4x bays wide enough to fit 4x 26650s at the same time”.

Looks good. Just needs a 1.5 or 2A mode, and analyzing and resistance function and it could be almost perfect!
