That is what I thought, until I got my Dereelight.

I have been carrying a ZL SC600w daily for six or so months. I can't argue with that choice.

Well, I must say, you didn't steer me wrong with the SH-034. That's been a favorite EDC since you first recommended it...

I'm strongly considering the TK41 however it may be too similar to my XML 4D Maglite (with rebel reflector) and also to my TR-3T6.

The King seems like a good choice because of its form factor but I'm concerned about it grenading. I suppose I really don't have anything in that size light and I should be ok with protected cells. I don't really care for NW lights but I see a lot of people recommending it in NW.

I’ll suggest my favorite light, the Armytek Predator. Not much spill, and not xml bright (but bright for xpg) but great outdoor thrower light. Also you can have any mode arrangement you can dream of on the fly and full stabilization. On sale under $100 at light junction.

Man, that light is AWESOME. In fact, the video makes me want to buy a Saiga shotgun! Too bad I just ordered a Sky Ray King at 5am.

I ordered the King in NW, but not because I wanted it in NW. I got it in NW (after reading the 7 page thread) because I wanted the unbranded light that didn't suffer from the switch glitch. From what I read, the NW tint from CQG is about as close to cool as you can get anyway.
