Lumintop FW21 Pro Floodlight photo comparisons: Mateminco MT07,, AT40 mule, FW3A...C8+, NI40, SP36.

Continuously hitting turbo with a compact flashlight that outputs something like 10,000 lumens...

Not too surprising.

Agreed. Given how 10,000 lumens lasts for only a few seconds and about 8,000 for 15 seconds, they shouldn’t have tried to drive the emitters that hard. How many people are really falling for “10,000 lumens!” as a buying decision? We’ve already seen that game played and enough people should’ve figured it out by now.

If I were to get an FW21 Pro, I’d never drive it that high. But, given what happened with phosphor falling off, who knows what the threshold is?

If the FW21 Pro comes out with a warm white tint, I'll get it, but I probably will never use turbo.

I plan to get some high drain 21700 cells for it, however.

I’ve done that multiple times with my NS53 with no visible issues to speak of.

There is something so satisfying about seeing darkness and knowing that you can just eliminate it with a good flashlight.

but thats a bigger beefier host right? the astrolux ec03 is better maybe it does only 6600 lumens on turbo… better imo.

I believe the head is smaller in diameter and the extra length is mostly due to the tailcap.

I’m told it does benefit from a thick aluminum shelf that the mcpb sits on.

Thank you very much for your photos tatasal, I am looking forward to someone to make a review of this flashlight, I am very tempted to decide for it, after seeing your photos I am already convinced, to see if someone could put any photo at different distances.
Thanks and best regards.

I wonder how close a Ledil Angie optic would be to fitting. Gets you a 21700 tail switch D4S with multiple optic choices

I didn’t see that on his website. Has it been up on his site already?

As mentioned as “Look at what’s coming up at Neal”…yes, it’s still coming up!

Thank you.

That’s really nifty! Now we just need a 5000k NW emitter to go with it.

is that still not available ?

Man, I would love a 3000K or 4000K on this light. I think it can spare the lumens on turbo…

Yeah, I actually meant neutral white on the 5000k, as opposed to cool white. But I wouldn’t mind going down to 4000k at the sacrifice of a hundred or so lumens.

Agreed, it is a great little light for the Max output it has. If you keep the setting for the ceiling below 31 clicks, the ceiling is full regulated and you still have a nice jump to turbo if needed. My first Anduril light, and I like the UI after playing with it for a bit.

Hey Gary! I haven’t seen you around in a while. Good to hear from you! I hope all is well.

tatasal thanks so much for these wonderful comparison shots! :+1: i’m on the market for a ‘floody’ 21700 EDC.

would LOVE to see a Lumintop FW21 Pro with 3 SST-20 4K emitters.

i own a S2+ with SST20 4K (driver is borked), and a C8+ with XPL HI U6-4C 4200-4500K
of the two i prefer the SST20. the XPL HI is as cool as i would want to go. it’s white without being blue, but suffers a bit of green.
both do actually when on a white surface.
