Would something like a Convoy s2+ 8x7135 be visible from 8 miles away?
It may be visible. Don't have an s2 but next time I will try my c8 as I have a feeling that will also be very visible at a distance as it seems the throwers reflectors magnify quite a bit at distance.
no chance way to small reflector its more floody then throwy.
That is what I am curious about too. Even though a light is floody, because of the wide beam it may still be visible because of that. I would love to know for sure and may even test it out tonight but now from 9 miles away.
It depends if you have the XM-L2 or the XP-L HI emitter.
