as far as I know, ultrafire origin is from china, not from japan.
Great light, so small, SS and bright on LifeP0, I fried my first one using a protected li-ion and replaced the driver with the DQG driver.
I get about 2 hours on low and I guess 20 min on high but, it gets too hot on high. I wont run it more than 3-4 minutes on high from a powerlion lifeP0, the batt was too short… had to solder blob the + contact. This battery worked well with the original driver as well, a little less output and heat.
The light would not interest me that much on 1.5v batts.
