fwiw here are some beamshots of the various Tips… with a Lumintop Tool w Nichia (that I think use 4500k N219b)
you can see the 220tip that is now shipping, with the fixed lockout, is considerably cooler than the 240tip, which I think might be 5000k

I will look forward to seeing some beamshots from other people once they receive the fixed versions

On the Banggood order page there is a posted question dated Oct.29/30 asking Banggood if this is the updated V2 version. Banggood answered they are not aware if it is improved version

I don’t feel confident ordering just yet.

New info, how to tell if your light has the lockout problem fixed:
The model with fixed lockout will not blink red when the buttons are touched while locked. The version 1 with high drain Lockout will blink red.

credit goes to TreviLux for first reporting this.

there are also at least 2 reports that the Version 2 with fixed lockout are approximately 5000k, even though some are shipping in the Tip220 3500k packaging
