Thanks for testing it. I’m partial to this light. I think it’s a good alternative to the TN42. Stepdowns just sooo tick me off.
I just received one of these monsters but none of my Orbtronic cell fit as they are all protected.
Can any of you wise folks recommend a model number for an Orbtronic 18650 cell that fits?

Let me give you a little battery advice…When I first started out in the flashlight hobby, all I purchased were Orbtronic 3400mah protected cells. They are just re-wrapped Panasonic cells with a protection circuit added and sold at a premium price…nothing special. I’ve got 12 of them just sitting in their cases and only used every once in a while. I’d recommend buying protected Panasonic batteries from elsewhere since you can get them for about $3-$4 cheaper. I’d also recommend either button top Sony VTC6s or Samsung 30Qs for your Vostro.
