You need to moderate how hot they get if you want a specific color ..
Seemed to me that the end of most baked lights ends up a brass color with thin cheaper lights ..thicker heavier lights turn out darker brown .
i've been on a cheap clip cooking craze .
the S series convoy clips are fun too bake .they come out really nicely and can always be sanded back down and re-done
