I’m glad you’re still updating this thread. I only ever read stuff that comes across the front page news. So, I would have missed this entirely. Great collection of information you have going here, ChibiM! Thanks for all your efforts in putting this together and keeping it up-to-date!
since they produce some eneloops in China, I haven`t updated the thread.. as it has been a little confusing.. because they used the same codes, like BK-3MCC, but with the added E or A.. and I have no idea what they stand for..
so up till now its focused on Japan made only.
I asked panasonic through email, but they havent replied.. dont think they will ever do..either...
BTW; if Im going to update the first few posts with the newer Chinese made cells, HOW should I do that?
I don’t think a whole separate list for the Chinese cells, just a separate entry for them in the existing list and table. Or do you think it really would be too confusing? The added E or A might be codes for the factory they are made in. That should be enough to differentiate them in the list, I’d think.
*1 BQ-C25 is a multi battery charger, and can charge 9V batteries, 2 in total.
*2 Fast charging can only be done with 2 cells. and not with 4 at the same time.
*3 the BQ-CC24 is a timer based charger especially for eneloop Lite, therefore its not recommended to use with standard eneloops.
*4 zero power consumption is that the charger will use less than 0.005 watt when not in use, according to IEC62301 it qualifies for Zero Power Consumption.
The top of my 4th generation Eneloops do not look like the 1st generation. The top is not bright white. Everything else about the fourth generation is correct in appearance and text. Do I have some fakes?
Thanks.
Where did you buy them from? They look the same as mine which I got from I cell media.on the side BK-3MCCE no/ came in a blister pack with battery case and 4 AA batteries
