I sanded the head before soldering. Based on what you’re saying, I’m not sure if that was a good idea or not. In any case, it didn’t seem to hurt.
Thanks for the local site. Will definitely go chk it out. I practiced soldering on dead cells the other day. I need more practice!lol. I need to get it to stick. I’ll try making surface rough and getting proper flux. Kinda scary putting that much heat near a lithium batt but I have a full face safety mask…and a jug of water.
