Part of the "club" now

HAHAHA, made the day.

That Place is just out of control. Used to be really good, I got started there in 2006. This thread got me started with none other than an 8-LED "Xnova" twistie. In those days you could actually ask about those lights and even link to them, and they would simply say "Yeah it's a decent light for the price." Since then, it has turned into a hateful place.

Contrast that with other well established flashlight forums. When we first got started here I posted on FlashlightNews.net about the opening of BLF, and later asked how they control SPAM on their forum, and they were all very welcoming and encouraging, and even added us to their related sites. Much more reasonable.

Coffee meet keyboard, monitor, and everything in front of me and to top that off, it all came out my nose. :D

Didn't make it out of my nose this time. So just the keyboard suffered. Fortunately it was one of these. Except DX sent me a green one instead of a purple one.

They are almost completely impossible to type on, but they are coffee-proof. From experience, I use one of those in the mornings.

The real specialist at getting coffee out of my nose when I was at school is now a journalist on Radio Scotland and doesn't even look remotely like that dreadful picture. He looks exactly the same as he did in 1982 when we both were at Edinburgh University. His Honda 250 was even more wrecked than my Kawasaki 250. Even the people who'd seen him drive it to the workshop didn't believe that such a wreck could actually run.
