QX9920 Driver Board - Stock Sense Resistor = 1K Ohm?

Trying to wrap my head around the concept and how the parts need to change for different current maximums. For simply testing the hookup of pwm to EN I don’t guess it’s necessary to change things but as current rises, L and Coff have to change in the proper fashion to maximize efficiency and I haven’t a clue how to choose better values.

A smaller inductor has lower resistance but charges faster in the “on” cycle which means an increase in system frequency. Coff determines the period of the “off” cycle so the two together amount to one full cycle? If 1000k hz is max frequency how do you choose the right value for Coff? I see the formula but there are multiple unknowns. Led current factors in Vf, L, and Coff as well as Rsense.

I hooked it all up and no joy in Mudville. Apparently the pwm frequency range on the QX9920 is from 250-1k Hz so I’ll either need a reflashed mcu or figure out how to stick a pwm’d FET into the circuit.
