I dont know what a darktort is but in 2008 ? nitecore released the infamous nitecore darktort. Maybe they loved that model so much and used it as a company name. Darktort ist definately not german, there is a word Torte but not tort which means cake. Maybe they had the word torch in mind and made a little mistake.
As always Miller, you nailed this review too! I'm tempted to buy it. Very bright for such a small flashlight. Nice spill and some very impressive throw.
