G10 is a glass fiber reinforced epoxy laminate, there is no nylon in it. Circuit boards are commonly made out of G10 with added flame retardants (FR-4).
I got the Trodoon awhile back... I like it. Fun to play with! I had to look at Microtechs on the web to make the comparison. It's built pretty good.

I was tempted to risk buying the OTF knife but seeing that customs are opening my flashlight packages now I won't risk it.
Sorry to ask but is that Microtech the real thing though, for that price it could just be a copy since the real blades cost in the hundreds. Sorry dont own one, not willing to shell out 400.00 bones for an otf knife. But for that price i guess it would be worth having a copy. Yea I dunno if there’s a preferred term but it’s definitely a clone, copy, inspired creation, fake ect.
Real Microtech’s are made in the USA. If fact to quote the front of their webpage:

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind these are clones. The fact they came with a Microtech box and the warrentee card was rather disturbing.
Just as an update one of the many I bought has failed some water got inside and corroded the spring causing it to break. Another one has sprung the spring apart but I was able to open it up and repair it the rest all work fine even though I click them open and shut like a madman all the time.
I think for the price they are not bad, you can have one of every model Microtech clone for the price of one real one that’s what I did anyways.
