Its 4.32V because it should charge the battery with no electronics in the light
But thats way too high 4.2V is max and it should terminate charge in the CV phase at low current

There must be some sort of charging cut off in in the light.
I charged it using a real 5v USB source and it cut off and the battery was at 4.12v.
So a safe if a little low voltage.
In tiny lettering on the included supply it says 4.2v 500mAh.
So the supply is not defective.
Still i think it is a very poor practice to use a standard connector with non standard voltages.
