Yeah, I haven't seen the set with adapters in years. That was my introduction to eneloops and I thought the adapters were a great touch. In reality, I don't really use them at all. I imagine our Costco will be out of the charger/battery combo set fairly quickly because of the low price. They almost always carry the batteries but the charger/battery set only occasionally.
Sure enough, the combo set sold out and hasn't been restocked since. I ended up buying two sets and have sold the chargers already for $12 each on CL. So I ended up with 16 x AA and 8 x AAA for $16 buying locally. Not too shabby
