I have forgotten what a frosted dome is, but it sounds like it should help the dark cross in the focused spot. That picture definitely looks like it would do it.
The Warsun X65 with XM-L2 is down to US$ 13.61 at Banggood, but a 26650 adapter tube seems no longer to be included. With three Sharp Eagle nut lights, I have only one tube.
