I like the L2N. Too bad they did not make a tail standing tailswitch, I prefer tail standing switches because they should be more difficult to accidentally turn on when putting in a holster or pocket.
Is the L2N Type III anodized? o.o
I don't believe so - wasn't mentioned in the specs anywhere I could see.
That L2N looks sweeeeettt!!! Might have to pickup my first Solarforce host!

It rocks, Garry! Every bit as nice as the L2P (which has HA III coating). The Solarforce U2 emitter is indistinquishable from the Manafont emitter. I did swap the forward clicky switch for the reverse clicky from my L2. I love the new tail cap look, just wish they had a tailstanding version in the grey.
Yea me too, me too :bigsmile: reverse switch swapped in, but I don’t mind forward switch momentary though ~

If I use an ordinary L2 tactical head, will the lamp still cling on it? I can’t remember if it had grooves on it. 
I believe L2 &/or A001 head is smooth, it doesn’t have anything for the hook to cling on to, but if u tail stand it, it will serve the purpose as well.
I wish there was a comparison chart of all the solarforce models.
Who can tell the difference?
