When you shoot the picture does it make the difference any more distinguishable? Or is it still hard to tell?
From the picture it seems the tk41 beats it in hotspot intensity and spill brightness.

The luminosity of the hotspots is 161 for the t08 and 194 for the tk41.

I feel you can only accurately compare throwers in outdoor beamshots. In the case of the ones at the top the TK41 destroys the T08. Frankly I don't think it's even a contest at all. Not to say it's not a nice light, because I feel it is, but it just isn't anywhere in the TK41's league.

Seriously though, very similar looking beam profiles. Get some more current to the LED (I’m sure that a typical HD2010 would be pulling more) and we might have a serious competition.

And cainn, you can believe what you want. And you can buy what you want. But the T08 is one heck a light for the price.

I didn’t say that I believed that you had some hidden agenda, only that it kinda seems that way. Mostly it’s because you keep calling this light the best light of it’s type for the price, but I don’t think it’s been established that it beats a HD2010 for throw, or total output, and I’ve mentioned that before. But hey, I would love to be wrong about this. If it out-throws a HD2010, I’ll buy one myself. I’d want to. But we haven’t seen a comparison yet.
