SOLVED ! Need Help Diagnosing Samsung ChromeBook XE303C12

Try running something that keeps sucking power, like a Mandelbrot generator, that will drain your battery for you.
Then see if it will take any charge after you’ve taken it down to where the computer shuts itself down.

The battery appears dead. I measure only a few millivolts across its terminals. If only I had another battery to plug in.

Well, found such a good deal on a NEW OEM battery for Chromebook that I had to take the plunge. All indications thus far show my 4 year old battery is BROKEN…

Gut it and see if you can salvage any good 18650s.

Them critters remind me of the old (but amazing for the time) PolaPulse batteries.

Yep, it’s 3.5mm thick. 3.5 inches wide x 9.5 inches long. Wouldn’t even make a good door stop.

It was just a caseof a broken, dead, and worn out battery. Anybody needin’ a battery for same, the link I provided is a good one. First class vendor 100% positive feedback and excellent Samsung Chromebook OEM batteries for less than $16 to the door. :+1:
