How many threads do we need to discuss spam? I see 5 threads on page 1 about the spam/spammer. Talking about spam has itself turned into SPAM.

Or create a button on a person's profile named "MARK AS SPAMMER". If 5 members clicked such button all posts of the spammer is quarantined. And then subsequently deleted after confirmation by Mr. Admin.

Hey, how did you read my mind? I just sent Mr. Admin a message with the very same idea! Creepy... :O

;)+1 I like the idea of open group control rather than empowering a MOD class. We know what happened on CPF as the Mods got used to their power. BLF seems to work great with the members self regulating their comments. We need an over ride or limiting action enacted by 5 members to stop spambots and professional spamers. I'm just not sure whats avaliable in the fourms software to achieve this result.

Sorry for the late reply. I was actually awake when that ****er PanPan started spamming yesterday. BLF becomes practically unusable when stuff like that happens, and it truly hurts my soul. Instead of hitting "Mark as SPAM" hundreds of times, I thought it would be easier to quit using BLF for the night and hope that PanPan would be gone the next day. Although I like to make fun of spammers, how does one hurt the feelings of a spambot?

I went to the coach bags site this morning and ordered over $1 million dollars in merchandise. 10 of this, 1700 of that, 150 of those, etc.

Seriously - I did. And I went through the checkout. They said my order was finalized but I never actually put in credit info - they must email you an invoice.
