Guys, I personally am very sceptical about handheld UV-C sterilisers. First of all, the sterilisation is slow, many wand held UV-C flashlights only remove 50-75% of microbes in dropplets and colonies on petri dishes after 30sec exposure at 5cm distance (2 inches).Stationary UV-c sterilisers and inclosed timed systems tend to be great, but these hendhelds, I dont know… Secondly, I am not a fan of these being used by general population. UV-C even in low doses can burn skin and damage eyes. Plus it can cause spiral compounds to straighten up. It can interfere with dna on molecular level causing random damage and cancer. Since its invisible it can be left turn on unnoticed.
