Those were my thoughts exactly. However, I'm still on the list for the SD10 and having second thoughts.....2 similar lights? DAM

If SD10 driver range 0.8V - 6.0V and put 4AA carrier in series (BLF SD10 4AA setup 2S/2P like Jetbeam SRA40), may be not need 2nd thought, but off course if they receive Amazon Card’s points too
Imo, more flexibility, can use varieties of batteries (even 1D) and drive to 3A, make BLF SD10 a very good option.
