It seems to have evolved like the L5 has with the addition of a side switch and built in charging. It is also dual switch, just the styling is different from the L5-S.
This looks like another good candidate for a big lumen conversion. Unlike my L5-S build, my next light will use Lexels boost driver (6A at 6v) to drive either a 50.2 or a 70.2 emitter with a single 26650 cell.
I was about to buy another L5-S when I stumbled upon the L6-S. I need to find out what size driver it has.
EDIT: The Aliexpress store responded that the drivers are the same size.
My 1st gen L6 use a 17mm driver—-a standard brass C8 pill worked in mine—not sure about this new version—-One of my favorite lights XHP70 / OP reflector—-using 2 / 26350 cells
I’ve seen the new L6-S with a plastic button and with a metal button.
I’ve also seen a new C8-X. It’s like a C8 head, but 26650 body, side switch with usb in and out (power bank function). That’s a bit different. I’m not sure the C8-X has a rear switch. The other 3 do.
Let’s add the Supfire X17.
