Test/Review of Samsung ICR18650-26F 2600mAh (Pink)

The 10.8 volt says that the pack has 3 cells in series, this means the 4910mAh is for two cells in parallel.
It sounds like they are underrating the cells or they are undercharging the cells (To get longer lifetime).

In this laptop pack cells are wired in 3 Serial 2 Parallel setup. Capacity is sumary of cells in parallel, voltage of the pack is summary of (nominal voltage) cells in series.

Samsung 28a are 4.30V cells - ie. they have full capacity at that voltage while most others has 4.2V. The pack is probably charging them to 4.2V so the capacity is less (4910mAh) than it could be if they were fully charged up to 4.35V (2x2800 = 5600mAh).

Holy smokes! You’re right! It makes perfect sense now! Thanks, and they were under charged, the cell specs state that the fully charged voltage is 4.3v but at 4.2v im only getting around 2300~2400mah, So yeah, thanks again!

Is it OK to replace Samsung ICR18650-26F 2600mAh included in the OEM Laptop battery with the more powerful Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh
I’m worried both batteries have different power output and might cause any problems with the laptop.
