18350 version of SP32A v2 with (3000K or 4000K) SST-20 (very high CRI) could sell well IMHO.

Probably old news, but it doesn’t fit the first batch of SP31V2. Threads have been changed, unfortunately (I ordered the short tube some time ago for mine but to no avail).

I might buy a more recent light after Corona [and in time with a good coupon offer ], since I still have that tube and sold the flashlight.

Looks like both lights share the same tube. I can only guess but my bet is that it fits if it is more recent than the initial SP31V2

3 way sw Nice colour beam plenty of light for it’s size.
Inbuilt charger.
Has a coupla second hold for On and OFF.
Apart from that.
A well balanced. VERY well machined for $11US light.
Nice and hefty if you want to fist it too. (Just saying).

These X Series Xanes are very well made model torches.

My missus uses it in her car dash. Changes them regularly.

Really wish more 18500 lights were out there. I have a lot of 18500’s that are going to waste away.

Barry, how about making some 18500 universal tubes for the SC31, SP32 and SP31? I have about 15 of these lights all together and would buy a few. I think the 18500 makes for a great length for a lot of these types of lights for EDC. Plus you typically get a little better run times with the little bit of extra capacity.

I myself recently found a clearance deal on some protected 18500 cells and bought half a dozen of them. I bought them to replace 3AAAs in a few flashlights I have, but I still have a couple extra 18500 cells. I also recently converted my SP40 to use a 18350 cell. I thought I would really like it, but now I actually think 18350 setup is too small (while still feeling like the 18650 on it is too big). So I absolutely would LOVE to have a 18500 tube for my SP40 — it would totally be the ideal size for that light!
