All ten of my lights are the crap lights with extra spacers, double ‘O’ rings and too deep pill section.

Yeah, mine were like that. Wondered if I could just get a reflector to fit, but got refunded 1 of my 2 orders instead. So will have to find/make either a spacer to fit, or get a reflector to fit. VW mentioned an M2’s reflector, but that’s OP and I’d prefer SMO.
Anyone know offhand the dimensions of the good/M2 reflector? Maybe I can grab a bunch from FT or wherever.
Obvious choice would be another thin piece of copper under emitter MCPCB.
Another way to remove the rattle if your stack is too short is to remove the bezel and sand off the top of the head. You can make up some room but don;t go too far to loose the seat for the o-ring that is on the bezel.
Could also use a thicker o-ring under glass.
Or double up the glass with a layer of silicone oil between them.
That’s my least favorite option. 
I was thinking of a thicker or extra o-ring, but I guess the other options are doable. Tnx.

This is Barry, product manager from ThorFire. We are really sorry that some customers received bad VG10 flashlights. We looked into this issue and found out 53 short reflectors were made due to wrong operation but the leader of quality control department resolved this issue in his own way without reporting to factory director and me. We fired the leader and upgraded the process of quality control to make sure this issue won’t happen again. Meanwhile, VG10 model is discontinued and will be replaced by upgraded model VG10S.
For those customers who received bad VG10 lights, we refunded the money. Furthermore, we will send VG10S lights as replacements when it’s available. Please make sure you contacted us. Thank you.

Barry. I’m sorry this issue happened but I am GRATEFUL for your communication and response! You as an individual have my trust!
(The reflector of my batch was exactly the same as the reflector from a good light. The issue is that the shelf was a lot further away (deeper and thinner) from the bezel so with the same reflector, spacers had to be added to make up the additional space.)

well, i just received my VG10 replacement in the mail today. guess what? I got another bad VG10 as replacement.
i guess i will email them again.
so, there are 53 “limited edition” VG10 and i got 3 of them. LOL.
It’s very good of you to offer both a refund and upgraded replacement, it’s really going above and beyond. Thank you for taking care of BLF, honestly I would be happy just to be offered a group buy price for the upgraded VG10s. Best of luck with that and even more looking forward to the Q8.

does the vg10 throw further than the vg15? it looks like the vg10 has a smooth reflector.
VG10 should throw further with the larger head and smooth reflector while the VG15s has an orange peel reflector but it has more output (over 1000 lumens vs 800s on VG10) so it’s pretty much a wash. Both pretty close to my eye… VG10 will give you better runtimes at turbo and VG15s is more pocket friendly.
Yes, we will have a group buy for the VG10S when it is available. The VG15S will be on deals soon.
According to manual, VG10 throw Max 280 meters while VG15 200 meters.

Regarding suggestions for group buy or promo, I’d kindly suggest TK12 primarily, because I have not been able to find any reviews on it, which is odd because it looks like it has some desirable features (Small form factor, USB port with threaded cover, metal switch etc). It could use some exposure If you are looking for more than one suggestion, I’d add the VG15s or the yet to be released VG10s (which I’m super excited about!).
I was another who got a faulty VG10 from Amazon, and despite the initial disappointment of a non-functional item, the consequent follow up customer service turned me into a loyal customer. :partying_face:
