Just in case you wanted an idea of how DC-Fix would affect the beam pattern, I took a quick comparison shot.
About 2 metres away from the surface, on the medium brightness preset.
Not a great picture, but it gives you an idea of the change in how intensity is distributed and also the smoothing out of the tint around the corona.

There are a lot of people here with more light experience than me, and I don’t mod, but I have given away two thorfire lights and much prefer utorch or convoy for price/comfort/quality. Just my .02
