1) I love the tint better than my other 219c lights.
2) I’ve been experiencing an issue where setting it to lowest and it jumps to a higher level or to Max output. Not sure why. Don’t want to blind myself or family in the middle of the night.
The OP says that max battery length is 67 millimeters.
I like the 18650 batteries with a built in mini-USB charger. All of those are ~70.7mm long, EXCEPT for the Nitecore NL1834R 3400mAh ( BATTERIES ), which is 68mm long.
Can I fit a 68mm battery into this Emisar D4?
(I would presume so.
Could I even fit a 70.7mm battery into this Emisar D4? I would guess not!)
Hey how are you? I don’t have the light so I cannot give you absolute certainty when it comes to dimensions. But my guess is that the micro USB battery is too long for the D4; length is the weakest link of these batteries with built in chargers. Secondly, these batteries with built in chargers are using (most of them) NCR18650B which is rated at 5A. There is also protection that should kick in at around 5A. This is simply not enough to full power the FET driven D4, and my guess is that the light is going to trip the protection. So I’m afraid it’s not going to work…
