i dedomed this light… for no real reason, lol
never dedomed a nichia… this is the nichia that looks like a “#5” thrown on a dice… same pattern…
after dedoming? theres a “layer” of stuff still on the emitter… looks like cracked ice, or like, i sliced the dome off close.
seems to be a definite tint shift, more yellower.
Works with 14500. Brighter, and doesn’t blow. Shorter 14500s are better.
That’s good news, too bad about the LED though.
Still kinda curious about that rotating zoom version with the hole saw but the price is just too high.
I’ll probably get that Ultrafire next time I order something.
