TrustFire TR-006 Li-Ion battery charger

I gave away my working ones. Once you charge at 2 amps it’s hard to go back to something slower. I use my XTAR SP2 almost exclusivly, 2 amps for my NCR18650B’s and all my 26650’s and 32650’s! Woot.

Nice, I’d imagine so once you have 2A! TR-008 is about 1.5A, but still so much nicer than TR-006’s <1A and 3 battery at the same time charging I use it more now. I think this is that same issue I saw before with another person’s TR-006 problems with a seller: some TR-006’s are made for different power systems of different countries and they put together/buy and send the wrong ones sometimes…when you want a replacement they send you one from the same wrong batch and it still doesn’t work… Sounds like you got a bad manufacturer/dealer on your TR-006s, though it doesn’t matter for you anymore. I don’t use them as much as my much faster TR-008 now.

Your link however, it says “XTAR SP2 charger for 14500 17500 17670 18650 18700 lithium battery”, but it can charge your 26650’s and 32650s?

As to thread back from the dead: yup, and I hope anyone with life/use updates on items raises threads “from the dead” with more info!

It charges 26650’s like a champ! Fits no problem:

For 32650 I use these magnet to 18650 adapters: http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?244152-charging-adapters-to-fit-ANY-SIZE-li-ion-into-an-18650-charger-(Pila-IBC-or-other)

Nice. How long do the king kongs and 32650s take approximately on it to charge?

The king kongs about 2.5 hours from 2.8v (low voltage shut off in my light).

The 32650’s about 3 hours 20 mins.

I am reviving this thread just to ask a question about the side jack that is on this charger. The one I got
has no information printed on it -and the packaging doesn’t help either, eventhough it has a diagram of the
machine where it is shown.
Well, my question is if this is for a 12volt DC outlet from a car battery and if so, should it be protected by some
resistor or not?

Thank you all.
