Yeah the x9 throws a bit tighter and has no donut hole but it’s size is a real disadvantage to me…I like it just fine but I imagine it’s going to be a specialty light…there’s a reason I don’t carry my masterpiece on my duty belt…it’s just far too big and always gets in the way… x9 is only an inch shorter than my masterpiece…the 980l just disappears on my belt and I never worry about until I use it…then i love the way it throws for it’s size…
I’m also getting a c8 so I’ll put up a vid with it when I get it…
I'm guessing the X9 and a 2D Lambdalight have better run time than the 980L and thank you Cheap, glad to help you spend mo money on flashlights. Just payin' it forward.
By the way, pounder, when you say "duty belt" am I correct to assume you are LEO?

I am a campus security officer for a college and university…so not a Leo but do most of what they do until I arrest and have to hand them over to local law enforcement…being in northern Ontario a good light is a must that our campus is on acres of Forrest…so yeah I have a duty belt and the 980l is my main grab…
Good stuff man I’ll post the c8 as soon as I get it…I bought one for a coworker though and it was about in between the p60 and the 980l…

I really like my MF dropin (except that awful purplish tint :Sp ) and I chose P60 because of the lego. Dropin doesn't work? No prob, you can buy dropin only :D
But I have to admit that P60 size could be more useful for normal use, and C8/980l for large distances. Spill should be slightly brighter with P60, or am I wrong?

Yeah had a great time! Did the shopping walks, the pop casino attractions and photo ops. Went to the top of Strat again. Ate a ton of food, mostly at bellagio. Went to the pinball hall of fame (haha) and burned $2.00 in 3hrs on one game - addams family. Went to the gun store and burned $100 in 15min..lol I hate that place!! Basically we did what we normally do except gamble. I can't believe I didn't play a single game of bj or enter a poker tourny. But my wife did pay the one armed bandit $40 one time while waiting to eat. lol
