Maybe do a factory bypass on the springs like the L6. Possibly use braided copper instead of a wire.
You could even offer a hot rod version of this light with a FET driver. 11 or 12 amps would really be spittin out the lumens.
9 amps is not bad, though. What would that be in lumens, over 5,000? Pretty decent.
Also make sure the battery tube is long enough for both short, 65mm, and long, 70mm, batteries. I’m sure some folks would want to use the protected KeepPower 5200 cells which were a bit too long for the L6. They are good for at least 9.7 amps.
There a lot of good ideas that have been posted…some of which we are looking at. I won’t make any promises on anything…but we are certainly open to improvements on this or future lights.
As far as the request for more information…much of that is up in the air and dependent upon how the latest prototype performs.
We will attempt to answer what we can in the next few days, and then provide much more information after we have tested the latest samples.
Pricing is not yet set in stone. We will price it as aggressively as possible considering features of the light.
Renders were done by TF. I think you mentioned something about us only having renders in your earlier post that has since been edited…but check the OP again…they’re not all renders. There are some pics mixed in of the protos that will be sent to us. :+1:
As of now, a different tint is not an option, but we would consider if there were enough interest.
I’ve got to say I wasn’t sure if the below image was a render or a photo that was blown out with too much light - I thought it was a really good render.
The renders look very life-like.
Ah yes so right now they left the top part of the head as used on the S70(s) makes sense.
Hope you get your prototypes soon!
I like what I’m seeing, and I think I really want one of these, that Full Round Diamond (i detest flats) battery tube and tail cap really sets this light off, great job, please keep it up!
I would like to see you guy’s come up with something truly outrageous in the near future, because your team is not lacking in the talent department that’s for sure! :+1:
