Votes for Nov.Group Buy@Focalprice

I gotta say.. I'm not too thrilled about the selection. Absolutely none of those lights interest me. I don't mean any offense though. Group buys are generally impulse and therefore need to combine both discounted price with a unique light we normally wouldn't consider because of price but we really really want. I also follow the mantra that "premium" brand lights are more desirable because we normally exclude them. Offering them through group buys would provoke the average BLFer to highly consider it because it's an enticing nudge.

Thanks for your vote

Well the first light you have listed is way overrated. Your not going to get anywhere close to 1600 lumens from a single XM-L emitter no matter how hard you drive it.

what you mean?

Just what I said. That ad is a lie in otherwords. Now do you understand?

Sunday,

Not trying to be rude just stating the facts.

Read through this thread and you will see what I mean. Some of those lights are going to beat that Trustfire bad in the lumen output and the throw output. And not one of them lights will come close to even thinking about putting out 1600 lumens.

The problem is the people selling these lights don’t really understand their own products. They aren’t just selling flashlights. They sell every product under the sun.

I think it might be better if they are just able to offer a group a certain discount to be applied toward any one product. Or just forget the Group Buy concept altogether since it makes no sense at the moment.

Hi gcbryan:

You mean the commen coupon for every products, and you decide which one to buy?

Maybe this is a good idea

Hi Sunday, yes, you can give us a coupon code, that we can use on all your products.. that would be the first step!

next step is giving some extra deals on highly wanted stuff!

My vote is on the Trustfire T2.

Give us 50% off JETBeam BA10.

I think it is impossible...

Many members like the Sipik SK68 http://www.focalprice.com/LF571B/something.html They can be great Christmas gifts for enthusiasts and novices.

If the price was under $6.80, there might be many buyers (see https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/5058 ) But they would need to be shipped before December to arrive in time for Christmas.

I think this one is not genuine, I will talk to our supplier to confirm the lowest price

I like the ebay light very much - thanks for checking.

A P60 XM-L flashlight for $10 is a "deal."

A triple T6/2 x 18650 flashlight for $25 is a "deal."

An UltraFire 3-mode XM-L drop-in for $6.50 is a "deal."

0.39 off if I buy five $46.59 flashlights instead of three $46.98 flashlights is not a deal. If it's not a screaming steal, why should it be a group buy?

dealmeansDEALFoy

Oh come on ... boomhauer, are serious about that "Sipik" group buy ?

A GROUP BUY for a light in ~8$ range ??!?!?

A GROUP BUY to save ~1.5$ ??!??!?

...You must be joking.

Candy, please concentrate on some good deal on Olight/Fenix/Jetbeam and don't bother with that crap.

What's the bother? There's not much else going on here in the way of group buys. A deal is a deal, no matter what the price range. Did you forget what the B in BLF stands for? Low-priced lights could mean multiple high-volume sales, such as those intended for gifts. But I would agree it's getting a little late in the season for it.

Edit: Actually, on second thought, I agree now that low price items wouldn't make a good group buy. Coupon type offers for BLF would be better for low priced stuff, without the strings attached to require a certain number of orders.

So I humbly retract the group buy request for these cheapies. But I would like to see more coupon offers, in general, from our dealer friends.
