What did you mod today?

Candle mode sounds great. I was thinking a timer feature would be useful for bedside use.

Pure kitsch, I love it!

Exactly. Itā€™s nice falling asleep to something which looks like a fire, knowing itā€™ll put itself out after a while.

It can also be a reminder to put the book down and go to sleep.

Rebuilt the charger module in the carbon fibre & brass Concept1

Sick! You have a rare talent dude, seriously!

True story.

Which part?

The sick part I gather. With a rare talent.

Thanks guys. I think. :+1:

Sick = Bad Ass = Awesome = Groovy Man = Radical = Off the Chain! Been a long time since Iā€™ve heard my momā€™s friend from Scotland talk, hard to remember how heā€™d exclaim (either before or after a few drinks) Skinny semi-short guy that drove a truck for a living, what a riot he was!

Complimentary utterings from slack jaws.

PS: Iā€™ll fill that story in a bitā€¦ when my mom was in 5th grade back in ā€™44 the schools thought it would be good relations to have students send letters to schools in England. My Mom and Lettie exchanged letters and have been in touch their entire lives, now some 74 years. Lettie grew up and married a guy from Scotland, Glendenning by name, and they lived in Moffat, Scotland. Lettie worked at a near legendary candy shop there for many years. Jim died quite some years back but Lettie still lives in Moffat, Scotland, English by birth and quite a contrast to her Scottish husband, her with her English accent and him with his guttural almost barking use of English. And as it turns out, where I live out in the country in the Heart of Texas there is a small community named Moffat about 6 or 7 miles from me. Moffat Texas. All this seems special to me because I have Scottish and Irish in me blood. (German and English as well, but Iā€™m pure Texan American mutt)

I did not had time for any flaslight modding for 10 days now. I was modded my house. 75% finished of complete roof replacing rebuilding.

Today I just had time for replace the MCPCB to a copper one in my S2+ UV.

Pics or it didnā€™t happen.

CRX, is it glow paint on the centring ring? Or is it made from glow plastic?

I have a video here.

Glow tape cut out with a scalpel

Youā€™re too funny Steve!

Liked the  at the end from the neighbor, lol, sent him running didnā€™t it! hahahahaha

It did happened. My wifeā€™s dad has this job for 20 years so he done most of the work because he know how to make a roof so I just helped and did what he told me. I thenk him a lot for his help!
Still have a lot work with it but I think the hardest part is complete.

Yā€™all must get a lot of snow huh? What is that, a 10/12 pitch? Pretty steep! Glad Iā€™m not the one doing that! Second thought, looks like it may even be a 12/12! (We donā€™t get snow, our roof is 4/12ā€¦)

Bet youā€™re gonna enjoy having a new roof over your head! Kudoā€™s to F-I-L for all the hard work! :+1:

Sometimes we have almost no snow in a whole winter but sometimes we have 10-12 inch in one day. 3-5 inch is normal. Most of the houses built like tis roof pitch here. The old roof was full of wasps so we needed to be careful and exterminate most of them a few days earlier than the work.

Yikes! So you also modified a bunch of wasps into ant food.
