Small Sun ZY C84 you can't fix this crap, even the pill has not room to ad some weight or something, the C78 has and the hole under the star could be filled with molten solder increasing the heat management a lot.
It's even worst than the 1 dollar police which can at least serve as cheap host..
I have this light ..you're right ..it sucks
Budgeteer and i were discussing how bad these lights are ..in my opinion it's either NOT a Q5 and someone is just lying since it's impossible to tell the difference in almost any xre emitter ..OR it's got one really crappy driver .. probably Both .. the body and build is just more trash making it one of my least favored lights .. Junk don't buy ..!!!
It could be a real Q5, but from defective batches.
It's not a Q5 , in a home based bin selection rated at the bottom of all stocks emitters I got , probably Q2...
I'm very upset with this matter since the XR-E 'R2' sent from DX happen to rate even low there...look the link

Well, mine Small Sun ZY-C84 has drawn only 0.67A from tail and if I recall correctly only about 0.6A to led. So it couldn’t be bright as it should be. I don’t have it anymore, so can’t verify again. Still , it was usable as a backup light for mountan biking.
My numbers were exactly the same with the same impression as well …Junk
Here's anothe piece of junk worth avoiding at all costs .The NF 05. i fondly think of it as my sharp light .. sharp assult bezel and sharp edges all over the tail area ..WHY?/ cuz it's such cheap thin metal for one reason ..Buy it if you love purple light.They have the guts to say 3w i think the w stands for WHY WHY WHY..Just more junk

At least these is well drived ,mine with very few hours of use at around 1,7A or more became like 85000 hours of life , nasty violet or something like that dark light, the star endure such heat that his color is not white anymore, milk and cofee like.
