i would NOT trust hot snot even high temp to work in anything that gets hot.it starts softening at too low a temp.

Reflector shorting on the led board’s solder points has an easy fix with a dab of hot glue.

Speaking of which, my kitchen lamp also needs a few dabs of hot glue here and there. As it is now, if you are to dare to look up and stick a finger in the wrong place, you may get a 100V zap! Of course, you may need a solder mask to do that. :cowboy_hat_face:

I have used 3M clear packaging tape for this kind of thing. Just stack up 3-4 layers, hole punch and scissor cut it to the shape you need. Stick it onto the MCPCB.

OP while you’re at it, you should also de-bur the back side of the reflector dish… if it does have a sharp edge. Just trim down the sharp edge with a knife.

Alrighty. Springs should be arriving Monday and I’ll see what I can do to get this thing going. Got jb weld to insulate as someone suggested earlier any objections to jb weld?
