What is the precise spacing of the emitters on this light? I’d like a DTP MCPCB. I don’t want to go to the lengths djozz did to make one.
Hi, we have this model only in Stainless Steel and Titanium.
Believe me, if the spacing was the same as any of the DTP boards around I would be lazy enough not to have operated on the stock board :weary:
I know :). But I think there are other options now. Were the Sofirn C8F DTP boards available when you did your mod? Also, there is a Maxtoch DTP triple board available.
Thank you for your answer! I’ll keep sight on the SS steel as the Titanium is far more expensive than my wallet can afford (specially because I would only use it as a host…)!

I’d be very happy to hear of a fitting board (the leds are unusually close to each other on the F3X board), especially a XP triple board, because I have another F3X still unmodded that I’d love to build up with hard driven high CRI leds.
