I’d want the Brinyte, since it’s essentially a high-priced C8, and I gave all my C8s away to friends who needed them. I’d like to see if the expensive ones really are “better”.

It seems to be a “short C8” as well, and the one of those I had seemed to have a better ‘all-around’ beam, with more throw than I need normally and excellent spill besides being more compact overall. The “long C8” has a deeper reflector for more theoretically absolute throw, but less useful light near you.
