I ordered this watch from Long Island Watch. He’s in the same town I live in so I should have it in a couple of days
It came. So far I’m pleased. It has a Seiko NH35 24-Jewel Automatic Movement (Hackable). The case and band are high quality. I think its a bargain at $165

This is required for Timex watches because the screens scratch way too easy.
Ordered this Casio dive watch for $42 new from an ebay seller. It got an excellent review from Long Island Watch.’ll have it Tuesday.
Those are nice basic attractive watches.
You can’t beat it for the price. 200 meter water resistance, screw down crown. What’s not to like. If you scratch the hell out of it, who cares. Just buy another one.

I dont think much about that IWC says “tool watch at all IMO.
No lume, very rouncded case, more dressy/vintage dial, rose gold color (I think? Or brass/copper), etc.
It is a VERY striking watch though, Im jealous. Just about everything from IWC looks great and the quality matches from what Ive heard.

My trusty tool watch … vintage 1980 Sub Mdl. 1680 … I’ve owned this beater for 38 years. My all-time favorite piece of wrist gear.

aliexpress has natos for as little as 40 cents.
I’ve gotten some for $1, and they are ok for light use.
they also have rubber diver bands, for as little as $1
which is what you see on many old ebay diver watches - chinese generic replacements - the old rubber usually gives up in 10-15 years

That’s a crazy low price! How’s the quality? What I like about Amazon, I ordered it 2 days ago. Got it today. If in the unlikely event where it’s miss delivered to the wrong address, they will replace it or refund your money no questions asked. It happened to me once.
—i’ve gotten about 3 at the $1 price, they are ok, there was one where the holes were just melted into the nylon, which works but is crude
steel parts may rust, can;t tell
i figured for that price i can gamble
some watches i have just to resell or reband for the kids or whatever
some of the bands are good for kids, garish colors and designs
i’ve got about 5 on order now, mostly rubber ones or silicone
under $1
there are also very cheap metal bands
milanese style
forged/folded link style
those can look too cheap if under $3
and of course delivery takes forever

Word of warning on the cheap metal bracelets: not only do they often lack adjustment vs more expensive options, they arent always 316L or whatever the usual steel is and Ive heard of a number of people getting skin irritations from them.
