Yes or no?

Lots of water cooled heat sinks and small radiators out there …

Why ask…you know you’re gonna do it anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

Do it! Do it! DO IT!!! NOW!!!!

Krono, +1 right? He’s already got the host prepped, waiting for a driver, why bother to ask us? He’s just showing off… :stuck_out_tongue:

Something like the Archon D100W - If you have an ocean to cool it and a car battery to power it, I say go for it.

The SRK driver compartment isn't as big as you'd think, it's 'only' 1.6" dia x 1/2" deep.

This will run it at full power, from something like a 18v laptop power brick. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171058603149

Works fine for a desk lamp, and you can remove the tiny onboard pot and use a remote mounted dimmer. You will definitely need a dimmer. :D

That thin available space is why I recommended the M6, much more room and the thick shelf is integral to the light. Far superior to the SRK

HBFlex is only 1.37" dia x .35" thick, it'll fit no problem.

FYI: I am going to do a similar build, But I got a Cooler Bin Array:

I would/will use a 6000/6500k array in the actual build as well, this one I just happened to have sitting here unused (too bright!).

Something neat about these cheap arrays, a lot of the package isn't needed and can be cut away. There's an alternate set of +/- solder pads some folks might not ever think to look for.

Compare the original size to what's left when cut down to ~47mm (50W on left, 100W on right)

Do it! Even if you can only run it for a minute!!

Oh, the TaskLED drivers have some crazy intricate UI with multiple modes (I haven't used one yet, it'll be a learning experience), it'll be usable at lower levels and not just off/FIRE!/off.

Thanks for the suggestion, that’s just what I was looking for.
Will get one to play around with.
