YEZL T9 Short Review

Finally got my T9 after a 3 weeks wait. M7X was much faster, only about 2 weeks.

2.33A at the tailcap with fresh 4.2V XTAR 2600. This is fine, actually for lights of such sizes I have already moved away from the thinking that 3A is needed. Due to heating up, after a few good minutes like 10mins, you probably would get the same lumens from 3A vs say 2.4A, believe it or not due to the lowered lumens efficacy of a hot LED.

280 lux @ 8.17m = 18689 lux @ 1m. The brightest is not when fulled pulled out, but just steop a bit short of the full extension length so the LED die image is a wee bit fuzzy. Bear in mind I am using the DX meter, which is known to be at least 10% lower in readings that others like Mastech. With the same meter, i am getting the same lux as the UF-980L.

Lux/throw aside, the main use for this light is really for the flood for close up work. PMW is minimal

Built quality is good. 1 or 2 tiny chips, a black marker takes care of that.

Surprised that it is very short so that you can carry it in your pocket. It is just a wee bit longer than say a Solarforce L2M or Xeno E03.

Beam shot request please... @ 100 meters if possible (narrowest beam). TIA
