Donāt give up so easily. You can still enter and build something new. We have excellent sportsmanship in this ācontestā. We help each other if needed. Donāt be afraid to ask for help, or even for spare parts. Several of us have plenty of those too. :person_facepalming:
Not in two months time I still need to finalize my 3d design and budget.
Also I need to check if my design is patent-able and possibly hire a patent attorney to check that it hasnāt been created already.
Once it is patent pending (or I find out it canāt be patented) then I will be able to make forum posts about it
So maybe for next yearās competition it will be readyā¦
T minus 30 days until the lights are dueā¦ just in time for Halloween!
I may not be around that day. To get some spellcrafting components I need, I may be out hunting small children under the hallowed blood moon. But I hope to see everyoneās shiny things the next day.
Oh, Iād like to join, but we are expecting our first child this week, so i donāt think iāll be able to build something this yearā¦
I do have an idea though, that shouldnāt be too complicated (in theory )
Iām still in but out if that makes any sense.
Iām heading of on holidays and returning after the closing date so I guess lām out of the comp but still in as I will finish the build.
All the best to the others here building lights and looking forward to reading about the final stages of the builds when l return.
